The Gillman family has been in the electrical and gas appliance business for over 40 years. D.A.D., now the biggest element of our business, was formed in 1992 after the family identified the need to give independent retailers an improved and more efficient service.

Warehousing

Our 80,000 sq ft facility for major appliances plus further storage for small appliances and consumer electronics goods is large enough to ensure you have continuity of supply.

DAD Delivery Fleet

Our own delivery fleet is both flexible and large enough to cope with all demands. Our highly trained drivers are accustomed to handling our huge range of products and all our vehicles are equipped with mobile phones.

Nationwide Delivery

We deliver throughout England, Wales and Scotland to a scheduled timetable. (Offshore deliveries by prior arrangement)

Our telesales operators have followed a detailed training programme enabling them to help you with any product, delivery or service enquiry.

Customer services

We send you regular monthly special offer booklets that include up to the minute offers and, when available, end of line models at fantastic prices. In addition, using our current monthly offers, we supply you with your own un-priced 'Shop Floor Specials' which enables you to use the special offers booklet to show to your customers along with your own retail prices if you wish to incorporate them – a popular innovation from D.A.D.

We also provide you with frequent supplementary 'promotional flyers' plus, we publish a regular high quality product and price catalogue giving 'at a glance' comprehensive information.

Additionally we are able to help you obtain point of sale materials via suppliers and manufacturers to help you enhance your in store offer to your customers.

Customer collections

Our warehouse is open from 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and 8.30am – 12pm on Saturdays to help you obtain any product that is urgently required.

Going the distance...

We have a large modern fleet of delivery vehicles ranging from 7.5 ton trucks to 40ft trailers. Our professional and experienced drivers are specialist movers of domestic appliances and are equipped with mobile phones, so they can be contacted quickly if the need arises. For an easier and quicker service, allowing us to keep our prices lower than the competition, all deliveries throughout England, Wales and Scotland are on a scheduled timetable from our central warehouse in Gloucester.
